Happy Birthday to Ed! 49 young years today-!
It's great to have a full camp! We have much to be thankful for this week! Great weather, wonderful guests and fishing is good!
Walleyes are abundant this week, the Osberg party continues to nail them on bottom bouncers through the morning hours. The pike have slowed somewhat compared to last week, but still some nice high 30+ inches caught and released in the weeds.
The Starkey Family brought 9 members this year and little Addison (age 9) kicked "you know what" yesterday, after catching a 26 inch walleye and 35 inch pike! Those were all "money" fish and she beat out 4 gentlemen from their group! Way to go, Addy!
We're sure having bad luck with the big boats this season, because of the high water and so many things floating in the river, we're going through props like mad! Seems we have had one or two of them down since the day we opened! The boat repair business is happy with us, though!
We're excited about the 4th of July guests that we have coming in, and they are bringing some fireworks to help us celebrate!
We're finally up and running with our credit card machine, so that will make it much easier for some of our guests who choose to pay with credit cards. Tetu will accept Visa, Master Card and Discover.
We still have plenty of openings this season and Ed has sharpened his pencil so call if you would like a quote on a trip this year.
Hope all is well with all of you and we're happy to report that the fish are biting, the weather is beautiful, our staff is happy, and Ed and I are very grateful to all our Tetu friends and family!
Kathi
